hi there, i am not mixed at all, looool, i am pure african with ethnic african hair, i think my hair type is 4c and i want to know if mixed chicks could reconstruct curls on my type of hair or if its only for mixed hairs.

Looks like it works well for people with long hair (putting it up at night) and finely textured hair. It would be nice to see a demo on a person with shorter and little kinkier hair.

Wow! That was an enormously enlightening video! Thank you for posting those great tips on how to use Mixed Chicks most effectively. I would like to see a FAQ page on your website as well, because your video brings up more questions in my mind. For example, what is the trick to keeping the curls intact when sleeping if you have short hair and cannot put it up like you do? And how about the shampoo? I switched to the sulfite-free because the original product was drying my hair out, but should I be using the original product occasionally for a different effect? The de-tangler – should it be used after every time you wash? How much for short hair/mid-length/long hair? Also, I have Hair Silk, but don’t seem to be seeing any results with it – perhaps I’m using it incorrectly – do you have tips for using that product?

I’ve been recommending your products to my curly friends, but none of them were very impressed with the products that much, and I suspect it’s because we’re all not using the product properly to bring out the potential. Thanks for your help!

How often do you wash mixed hair? My daughter has really thick hair, tight curls, but texture is not course, except for the short hair at the front. What is the recommended frequency?

This is my first time trying this product on my daughters hair and I am not sure if I did the process correctly but I followed the directions for all three products; the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. I washed her hair, rinsed, put the conditioner in and used a big tooth comb to de-tangle her hair; then I put the leave-in conditioner in and let her hair dry. For some reason though when her hair dryed her hair seemed more frizzy and was tangled up again. I have tried every product and I think I can make this one work but can someone help me please in case I am doing something wrong or need to purchase another kind of mixed chicks products. Thank You!

I have tried your product for the first time this week and it has straightened my hair instead of curling it.
I had been wearing my hair in a curly ponytail and used your product in hopes of being able to wear my hair out loose, without the tangling. Instead, I have limp semi-wavy hair.
Can you give me any advise on how to get the curls described on your website or could it be that even your product is not for me?

I’m a 45 year old “mixed chick”, and have been looking for something for my hair for as long as I can remember haven’t tried the product yet; but I am very interested in getting something to maintain my natural curls, I go thru many different products monthly & nothing has really satisfied me as of yet; My mother White, father Black my hair is frizzy , dry, & very unmanageable, I love having long hair so I will be looking for your product in my local area asap , ( I have the list ) in advance; I thank you……
