Mixed Chicks co-creators Kim Etheredge and Wendi Levy Kaaya were honored with a Pacesetters Award at the Darker Horse Creative 5th Annual Beauty Bash in Chicago on Monday June 23rd. The awards ceremony was in association with key sponsor Remy Contreau and Media Partner Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine along with Luster Products,Soft Sheen-Carson,Creme of Nature, Avlon products, Clintex Laboratories, Chris Curse & Company and Mixed Chicks
A portion of all proceeds benefited selected Autism Awareness Organizations.
In addition to Kim and Wendi, the 2014 DHC Vanguard award & DHC Pacesetter award Honorees included; President of Luster Products – Mr. Jory Luster Sr, Celebrity Make up artist -Mr. Joseph Hampton and Celebrity Hair stylist & Artistic Style Director for Soft Sheen-Carson -Mr. Johnny Wright
