Today’s mixed chick of distinction is Norah Jones. She came onto the music scene with her soulful jazzy sound in 2002 and has gained a steady following ever since. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, she is the daughter of Indian sitar musician Pandit Ravi Shankar and American concert producer Sue Jones. Norah’s music is timeless and classic and has taken her around the world performing for millions of adoring fans. With nine Grammy awards under her belt, the famous singer/songwriter has many more years of incredible music to look forward to!
