Today’s Mixed Chicks History Month person of distinction is Anna Wilson – the little sister of Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson. Anna comes from a multiracial family. Mostly African American with some Native American ancestry, Wilson was destined to follow in her big brother’s footsteps into the world of sports.

As a sophomore at the Collegiate School, a posh prep school in Richmond, Virginia, the 5’7” point guard is already touted as one of the top sophomores in the country. Wilson is already committed to attend Stanford University when she graduates high school. She recently learned the news that USA Basketball selected her to be one of 12 players to the 2014 Women’s U17 World Championship Team.

Congratulations Anna! We salute your amazing achievements and love how you represent being a multi-talented Mixed Chick!
