What does being “Mixed, Multiracial or Bi-racial mean to you in 2017?

Mixed and Multiracial are both beautiful but it honestly matters what YOU choose to identify with.

How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?

Both of my parents identify themselves as African American but are from multiracial ethnic backgrounds. My mom has tight 3c curls and My dad has loose wavy almost straight hair. And my hair is a combination of both. Some part of my hair are very loose waves and curls while some parts are tight and spirally.

What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

One feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers my hair care is the variety of products that are accessible to both males and females.

Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation?

Celebrating natural healthy hair is vital for our generation because it teaches people self-love and the beauty in being yourself.

Is there a (Mixed/Multiracial/Bi-racial) celebrity who empowers you?

I wouldn’t necessarily say empowers but a celebrity with a similar hair type as mine is Corbin Bleu. I would say he was my main inspiration in growing my hair out.
