What has your experience been with the Mixed Chicks products? My experience with Mixed Chicks has been absolutely amazing! Before Mixed Chicks my mom and I would try every product you could possibly think of which ended up damaging my hair. Ever since I started using Mixed Chicks my hair has regained its health and is less frizzy.

What makes them different than other hair/beauty products you tried in the past? Compared to other products I have tried; Mixed Chicks is the only product that makes my curls look defined without damaging them completely. Mixed Chicks has also helped me with my frizz problem by my hairline.

Do you have a go-to or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without? I use both the shampoo and conditioner but nothing tops my fav- which is the lovely leave-in conditioner. The Leave-in conditioner is definitely my go to, it gives the same effect that conditioner has before you wash it off which is a big plus for me.

How has having a product specifically for your cultural/biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime? Having a product that is specifically for us beautiful diverse ladies is awesome. When you go to the salon or any drug store all you see are products geared towards straight haired women so by having a line of products such as Mixed Chicks that doesn’t damage our hair is great.

How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background? My background is 100% Hispanic but since my hair is super curly everyone mistakes me for a mixed chick which is totally cool too. I feel that not a lot of Hispanic ladies (at least not from Honduras) have hair as curly as mine which makes me feel one of a kind in some sorts. My hair makes me, me and I am proud to be a curly haired Latina.

What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care? One feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers me in general is that the bottles labeling itself, shows exactly how Mixed Chicks does not discriminate against any walk of life. We are all beautiful.

If you could define Your Hair Story in one word what would it be? If I could define my hair story in one word it would be “” rollercoaster” because this hair journey has literally been a rollercoaster full of ups and downs trying to find the right products for my luscious curls.

Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation? It is important to celebrate natural hair for our generation and the generations to come because we are all exposed to this image of “natural hair is ugly” or that “natural hair isn’t as nice as straight hair” which isn’t true at all. Natural is beautiful and so is straight hair. We need to learn to love and cherish what we have which is our beautiful NATURAL and HEALTHY hair 🙂

If your ‘Mixed Chick’ story were a song, what would it be? If my Mixed Chick story were a song it would most definitely be “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé because I’m so crazy in love with my hair.

* Do you have any go-to beauty/hair bloggers or vloggers who inspire or help your hairstyles? I don’t tend to watch a lot of beauty based bloggers/vloggers but I have learned how to style my curly hair in various different ways that I’ve never thought of by watching Andreas Choice, Jasmine Brown and a few others.
