Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation? I thinks it’s important to celebrate for our younger generation to bear witness to the hair revolution because I think it’s mandatory they know that they are beautiful just the way that they are. for years the example was straight, straight, straight, you weren’t beautiful if you wore your natural hair. Our children need to know they are beautiful and their hair is beautiful whether anyone else thinks it or not!!
If your ‘Mixed Chick’ story were a song, what would it be? If my Mixed Chicks Story was a song it would be “I am not my hair”
