What has your experience been with the Mixed Chicks products?

My experience using the Mixed Chicks products have been amazing! I’ve been using these products in my natural hair and extensions since 2008. I’m excited that over the years, the products have been easier to find in my local stores versus years ago.

What makes them different than other hair/beauty products you tried in the past?

These products are different because no matter what texture of curly extensions that I work with or wear in my hair, Mixed Chicks improves the definition of curls and moisture in all textures. It’s also not heavy or greasy. Other products tend to cause build up and stickiness to hair but Mixed Chicks products don’t.

Do you have a go-to or token Mixed Chick Product you cannot go without?

My go-to Mixed Chicks product is definitely the Leave-In Conditioner. I tend to buy multiple travel-sized pouches to take with me on trips and keep in my purse for emergencies lol.

How has having a product specifically for your biracial/ethnic/multiracial background impacted your beauty regime?

Having a product specifically for my ethnic background is very important to my beauty regimen.

How do your curls/hair texture represent your cultural/ethnic background?

My curls represent strength and personality because I can change my hair frequently and still retain length and health with using Mixed Chicks shampoo and conditioner on my natural hair and my extensions.

What is one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers your hair/beauty care?

The one feature of the Mixed Chicks brand that empowers my hair/beauty care is the fact that the brand embraces all walks of beauty. It’s not geared to only ethic women but all women who have their own head of unique curls.

If you could define Your Hair Story in one word what would it be?

If I could define my hair story in one word it would be: Fearless

Why is the hair revolution celebrating natural/healthy hair types vital for our generation?

The hair revolution is celebrating natural/healthy hair types is so important for this generationbecause I believe a lot of women, especially women of color have been told for centuries that their

natural hair isn’t good enough or we can’t grow our own hair. It’s very important that we educate women about their hair and the potential it has to be healthy just like other women.

If your ‘Mixed Chick’ story were a song, what would it be?

If My Mixed Chicks story were a song it was be Beyoncé Diva
