Alesha happy to be single

Our final mixed chick of distinction is Alesha Dixon. Born and raised in Welwyn Garden City in the UK, her mother is English and her father is Jamaican. From early on, Alesha was destined for stardom. Her first big break came in 1999 when she linked up with two girls from her dance school and formed a girl group called Mis-Teeq. They released their first single in 2001. They released a total of two albums however the trio eventually went their separate ways. Dixon didn’t let this setback stop her. She decided to pursue a solo career and never looked back. Not only is she a chart-topping singer but she also lent her dancing talents to the UK’s hit show “Strictly Come Dancing”. As her career began to take off, she launched her own show aptly titled “The Alesha Show”. She was such a hit on “Strictly Come Dancing” that they asked her back to be a judge which she gladly accepted. Alesha is one of the UK’s most popular and sought after entertainers and celebs. She is a huge supporter of Mixed Chicks and we love her! We are so happy and proud to call Alesha Dixon our Mixed Chick of the Day!
